Yup. That is what I got to hear on Friday. So the adoption of NK is on hold until I find employment again. I have been offered a severance package so I will be fine. It just (obviously) sucks a lot. I have never been unemployed...

My thoughts are with you. I like to believe that things happen for reasons, I believe you will find your way to NK when the time is right. Hang in there!!
I recently found myself unemployed as well. I decided that I'm going to stretch my severance out and wait for our babe to come home.
It does suck, but I figure I'm off during the beautiful summer months....what more can I ask for?!
